Map your world visually
The visual canvas is an infinite board where you place cards for characters, locations, scenes, and organizations, then draw labeled connections between them — "leads," "rivals," "lives in." Drop in reference photos and mood-board images as image nodes, auto-arrange the board in one click, and export a high-resolution PNG to share with editors or co-authors.

When you're ready to revise, switch to Edit: sentence-length highlighting marks verbose sentences right in your text, and your AI analysis results are overlaid directly on the prose.
Fork a passage. Keep the road not taken.
Highlight any passage in Edit mode and fork it to explore a different direction — a scene that goes another way, a line of dialogue rewritten, a shift in POV. Each fork gets its own editing track so you can fully develop the alternate version without touching your original. Switch to Review to see both side-by-side with a narrative mode breakdown of each, then canonize the version that works. The other parks itself to the Plot Bunny Cage in case you change your mind.
See what your prose is actually made of
Narrative Modes analysis breaks every sentence into one of seven modes — Dialogue, Action, Description, Interior Monologue, Exposition, Reflection, and Transition — then shows you the percentage of each in your document. Know at a glance if a chapter is all action with no interiority, or all exposition with no momentum. Compare the mix across different versions of the same passage when using what-if branching.
